Laura Keith, Chair of the Board, appointed to the Board in 2020
Laura earned her BSBA from The University of Central Missouri. She spent 10+ years in sales, publishing, and as a landscape architect. She enjoys volunteering at her church, on her HOA Landscape committee, as a local Girl Scout Troop leader, and with the local Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. She supports the PHMS Booster and when time permits, in the classroom on the Elementary campus. Before joining the Board, she served as a parent representative on the PHES Site Council for a two-year term.
She and her husband Brian have been married since 2005. They have two lovely children who are both Panthers at PHMS and PHHS. Their family became complete when their English Bulldog Spanky joined them seven years ago. They are an active family who enjoy spending time together outdoors camping, kayaking, hiking, fishing, playing sports, family game nights, attending church, traveling, and cheering on their favorite college team the Nebraska Cornhuskers........GO BIG RED!
Jerry Salcedo, was appointed to the Board in 2016

Jerry has been married to his wife, Brandy for 27 years. They have 3 incredible children who have all graduated from Paradise Schools. Jerry enjoys spending time with his family. Mountain biking and serving in the community in several ways at school and church involvement.
Erick DeWerth, Co-chair of the Board, appointed to the Board in 2022
After leaving the Marines, he began what is now a nearly 20-year career in law enforcement where he was recently promoted from Captain to Major. Erick also co-owns a security consulting company with his former police partner and longtime friend. Erick graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a minor in Political Science. His graduate work is in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Erick is also a graduate of Northwestern University’s prestigious School of Police Staff and Command. Erick served on the Site Counsel for Paradise Honors Elementary School for 3 years before joining the Paradise Honors Governing Board in the Spring of 2022. Erick has been happily married to the love of his life since 2010 and is the father of two incredible sons, both of whom are Paradise Honors students.
Erick is a man of faith and loves being a husband to his wonderful wife and a dad to his amazing boys. Hanging out in the backyard, swimming, playing catch, and chasing Rosco Mugsy Murphy (the family’s yellow Labrador) is the family’s favorite way to spend time together. Erick is also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor, firearms instructor, and enjoys rock climbing and anything that involves being outdoors and turning off his phone.
Jessica Greene, appointed to the Board in 2023

Education: Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Jessica has two daughters who began at Paradise Elementary and are now thriving at PHMS and PHHS. Both are taking advantage of the variety of clubs along with the performing teams. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new places as much as time allows. She also enjoys reading and cooking.
Brian Sandusky, appointed to the Board in 2023
Brian is a higher education executive and educator with over 25 years of successful and progressive leadership responsibilities in complex, multi-campus university systems throughout the US. His career purpose has been focused on achieving positive institutional outcomes and nurturing student learning and growth. Brian has a successful track record of consistently shaping enrollment and achieving net revenue and expense targets in the ever-changing landscape of higher education. His areas of expertise include marketing, enrollment management, general management and creating and executing new academic courses and programs to diversify revenue streams. He is a professional educator, academic leader and current member of the faculty. Brian’s academic leadership experience includes supervising campus executive officers, academic deans, full-time faculty, adjunct faculty and academic support staff. His academic expertise is in the business discipline and he has taught a variety of business courses at the undergraduate and graduate level with freshmen residential students, as well as transfer and adult learners. His teaching and executive administrative experiences include both online and in-class modalities.
Brian earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from Northcentral University in 2005; a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in 1999; a Bachelor of Business Administration from Davenport University in 1994.
Brian has been married to Jennifer Sandusky since 2002 and they have two children together that attended Paradise Schools since 2018. Addy graduated from Paradise Honors High School in 2022 and Jakob is a current junior at the high school. Brian is passionate about student learning and outcomes, as well as their experiences. He has K-12 charter board experience and served as a governing board member at two other K-12 charter schools, one located in the state of Michigan and the other in the state of Arizona. He enjoys playing golf, vacationing with his family, taking long walks and swimming with his golden retriever named Leo.
